Engineer at the National Aeronautical Laboratories in Bangalore. Additionally, Mr. Vasan's extensive international exposure, particularly in
higher scientific educational circles, has equipped him with a broad perspective on educational and technological advancements.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Mr. Vasan embodies the roles of a businessman, scientist, and philanthropist. With a sincere
commitment to advancing the educational and technological landscape of our school, Mr. Vasan is dedicated to infusing the best
educational and technological resources to propel the students of Doon to the zenith of excellence. His ambition stems from a desire to

Shri N. V. Sarat Chandran, Director
Engineer & Renowned Educationist
Mr. Chandran has a solid Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering (M Tech) from the prestigious IIT, Kanpur. As a brilliant IITian and one brimming with new ideas and plans, Mr. Sarat Chandran is a veritable motive force in the phenomenal the turnaround of Doon Public School witnessed in the last eighteen years.
Being a pioneer in application of technology in Education he has specific ideas on K-12 education and subsequent Higher Education in the present day context. Mr. Chandran is the proud recipient of the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teacher Award-2005 and the Award of Honour by Chief Minister of Delhi in 2007. He has been honoured and awarded continuously by different bodies in the field of education for his valuable contribution. As the dynamic school Director, Mr. Chandran takes personal interest in translating new ideas and concepts into day-today child friendly activities. Mr. Chandran has mentored many startups in educational technology translating them into success stories and continue to do the same in order to bring quality education to masses and unreachable.

Dr. Shashi Kant Tiwari – Director & Treasurer
Physician, Entrepreneur & Educationist
Dr. Shashi Kant Tiwari is a highly experienced and recognized Cellular Therapies and Regenerative Medicine Physician and Scientist. He has been one of the pioneers to introduce the concept of Stem Cell Research and Therapy, Regenerative Medicine, Cellular Therapies, Technologies, Products and Services in the Indian subcontinent. He has been involved in many active projects in the areas of Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Stem Cell biology, therapies the development of novel devices, the clinical outcome of biological therapies and various other Translational Medicine Therapies including Immuno-Onco Therapy. His emphasis in the past few years has been focused exclusively on the introduction and advancement of Precision Medicine and Personalized Translational Medicine and Immuno- Onco Therapies in the Indian Sub-Continent.
Dr. Shashi Kant Tiwari's influence as an educationist has been truly remarkable. He has played a pivotal role in shaping formal schooling and driving advancements in technology and innovative learning methodologies. His vision and guidance have empowered educational institutions to embrace new technologies, creating dynamic and enriching learning environments for students. Through his leadership, Dr. Tiwari has championed the adoption of progressive teaching methodologies, empowering educators to leverage technology-driven learning tools. Additionally, his dedication to bringing complex technologies to K-12 and higher education platforms has established him as a distinguished educationist. Dr. Tiwari's focus on implementing vocational training at the school level and providing skill development opportunities for school and college dropouts reflects his commitment to building a better future and a stronger society for the nation.

Ms. Sumy Vasan – Vice- Chairperson, Director - Academics & Legal Officer
Legal Expert, Educationist and Philanthropist
 An alumna of Welham Girls, Dehradun, and Carmel Convent, New Delhi, Ms. Vasan holds a Masters in Intellectual Property Law from Suffolk University, Boston. With over 14 years of experience in the education industry, she has showcased her dedication and expertise.
Ms. Vasan's journey commenced in 2007 with Little Legends, an early childhood education unit of Abhinav Sansthan. Her commitment to early childhood education has been pivotal in elevating Little Legends to a premier institution.
Beyond her role in the education industry, Ms. Vasan is a staunch advocate for women’s rights. She had the honour of collaborating with the late Ms. Rani Jethmalani, an eminent lawyer, in WARLAW (Women’s Active Research and Legal Assistance for Women).
In 2013, Ms. Vasan assumed the position of Director at the prestigious Doon Public School, where her unwavering determination and resilience have motivated others to work towards noble causes. Her remarkable academic proficiency, innovative methodologies, and scholarly approach have propelled Doon Public School to new heights. In addition to her commendable contributions to general education, Ms. Vasan has also played a significant role in advancing special education initiatives within the school.

Shri Mathew Panamkat 
Educational Consultant
Mr. Panamkat, a gold medalist in English Literature (MA) from the University of Rajasthan and a British Council Scholar in Linguistics and ELT from the University of Leeds, U.K., has garnered 17 years of teaching experience. His career includes positions as a Lecturer at St Stephen’s College, Delhi, and as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Aden.
Transitioning to School Education, Mr. Panamkat has served as the Principal of St. Paul’s School, Hauz Khas, and as the Founder-Principal of N K Bagrodia Public School, Rohini. He has been honoured with the 'Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award' (1996) and the 'PTA of India-Principal’s Award' in 1999.
Beyond his administrative roles, Mr. Panamkat is an accomplished writer of children’s books, showcasing his talent in novels, science fiction, and plays. He actively contributes to promoting the Reading Habit and the Book Culture in children as a member of the Reading Promotion Team at Scholastic India Ltd, conducting seminars and workshops for teachers, parents, and students.

Dr. Nirmal Kumar Member 
Renowned Scholar and Historian
Meet Dr. Nirmal Kumar, Ph.D., an esteemed scholar and the Head of the Department of History at Venkateshwara College, Delhi. As a dedicated academic, Dr. Kumar is actively involved in teaching and research, and serves as a visiting Fellow at renowned institutions. His expertise is sought after in prestigious forums both in India and abroad, where he delivers lectures and presents papers on historical subjects. Dr. Kumar is also a prolific author, with numerous articles, papers, and publications to his credit.
In recognition of his exemplary work as a scholar, researcher, teacher, and writer, Dr. Kumar has been honoured with several awards and distinctions. His invaluable contribution to the school embodies the institution's relentless pursuit of excellence.

Shri Y.V.S.Chahal- Member 
HR Specialist
Mr. Chahal, a postgraduate with a specialisation in Human Resource Management (MSW), brings over five decades of extensive experience to the table. His remarkable career includes serving as an Officer in the Central pool at the Ministry of Labour, Government of India, and holding various high-ranking positions. As a former army officer with firsthand experience in two wars, his leadership has
been tested in the most challenging environments.
Mr. Chahal's professional journey also led him to the role of Director at Indian Airlines, where he oversaw Manpower Management, Industrial Relations, and Legal matters related to Labor. His involvementwith Indian Airlines-affiliated schools provided him with valuable insights into school administration. Furthermore, his tenure as General Manager at Sahara Airlines further enriched his expertise in
organizational administration and human resources planning.
The wealth of knowledge and expertise that Mr. Chahal brings as an administrator and HR planner is a significant asset to the school, and his insights are poised to greatly benefit the institution.

Dr. Bimla Kapoor

Dr. Bimla Kapoor, an eminent paediatrician, is celebrated for her exemplary knowledge, compassionate care, and unwavering empathy. Mrs. Daljeet Kaur

Mrs. Daljeet Kaur commenced her illustrious career as a distinguished educator and excelled in her roles as Deputy Director of Education and Additional Director at SCERT, Delhi. Widely recognised for her adeptness in educational administration and expertise in educational training, Mrs. Kaur has made a significant impact in the field of education. Her instrumental role in implementing various social development schemes, including the provisions of the RTE Act, underscores her dedication to advancing educational initiatives for the betterment of society.

Group Captain T.B. Srivastava (Retd.) 
Member (MC)
Commissioned into the Education Branch of the Indian Air Force in 1953, Group Capt. Srivastava has had a distinguished career journey. Prior to his military service, he served as a Lecturer in a college while simultaneously conducting research in Geography at the University of Allahabad. His leadership roles include serving as the Headmaster Principal in Sainik Schools across Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur (as the Founder Principal), and Tamil Nadu, notably contributing to the development of these institutions.
Additionally, he had the honor of serving as a member of the Directing Staff at the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Pune, which further amplified his extensive leadership experience. Following his retirement as the Joint Director at Air, HQ, Vayu Bhavan, New Delhi, Group Capt. Srivastava undertook significant Principalship assignments, including Sawan Public School, Chhattarpur Road, New Delhi (an exclusive boarding school), and membership in the I.P.S.C and Dayawanti Modi Academy II, Modipuram, Meerut, U.P. With vast experience in the field of education and a wealth of travel experiences, Group Capt. Srivastava brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the institution, which will undoubtedly enrich the learning environment and the overall educational experience for the students.

Ms Seerat Kaur  Randhawa

Ms Randhawa is a co-founder of LawSuits and More, a business specialising in products for the legal fraternity. She holds an LL.B from Amity Law School, New Delhi, and an LL.M. from the School of Oriental & African Studies, UK. Her extensive experience in the legal sector and her work with prominent industry players such as LexisNexis and Wipro, as well as her tenure at various courts with leading law firms, have shaped her primary business focus.
While excelling in the legal and business domains, Ms. Randhawa is also deeply committed to philanthropy and contributing to the field of education. Her passion for supporting causes close to her heart extends to her active involvement in promoting Futuristic Education at Doon Public School. Furthermore, she has played a pivotal role in spearheading initiatives aimed at raising awareness about children's health and the impact of celiac disease on children and adults.
