The inception of the ATL within our school marks a significant milestone in the history of Doon Public School. The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) stands as a testament to the Central Government of India's initiative and NITI Aayog’s flagship program. Its primary goal is to foster an environment that nurtures scientific curiosity, innovation, and creativity among Indian students.

ATL, also known as the Maker's Lab, propels our Doonites ahead of their peers by furnishing them with a comprehensive framework, cutting-edge resources, and state-of-the-art infrastructure to explore innovation, seek solutions, and cultivate a profound scientific temperament.

This unique workspace accommodates young minds, ranging from Nursery to High School, allowing them to materialize their ideas through hands-on, do-it-yourself methodologies while acquiring invaluable innovation skills. At the Maker's Lab, Doonites engage with tools and equipment, grasping STEM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and transforming into active learners, thereby enhancing their confidence.

The primary aim of the Maker's Lab is to instill logical and analytical abilities while fortifying research and problem-solving skills among our students. This hands-on approach enables our Doonites to seamlessly achieve these objectives within the innovative realm of the Maker's Lab.
