Place Value Scavenger Hunt in Action!
Our enthusiastic Class 1 and 2 students embarked on an exciting Place Value Scavenger Hunt, designed to deepen their understanding of ones and tens through active, hands-on learning. The activity transformed the classroom into a fun math adventure, where students worked together in small teams to discover hidden number cards tucked around the room.
As they uncovered each card, the young learners solved clues, discussed their findings, and carefully recorded the numbers using place value tables. This interactive approach not only strengthened their number recognition skills but also helped them visualize how digits represent different values.
The scavenger hunt encouraged teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and joyful exploration—turning mathematics into an engaging and memorable experience for every child!
